Iris & Carly began with my own search for light.

For years, I worked in finance, thinking about value, structure, risk, and long-term decisions. That world trained me to ask hard questions: what is truly worth paying for, where does value sit, and what are we really buying when we call something luxury?

Jewellery had always lived somewhere in me. As a teenager I loved colour, sparkle, and the emotional pull of stones. Then life became practical. Finance, work, motherhood, responsibility. I forgot the part of me that was drawn to light.

When I stepped away from the corporate path, I wanted to build something of my own. Not just another jewellery shop, but a modern jewellery house shaped by colour, science, meaning, and freedom.

The Meaning Of Iris & Carly

Iris means light and colour: the way a stone catches the eye, shifts with movement, and turns emotion into something visible.

Carly is named after my children, Carl and Molly. To me, Carly carries celebration, love, legacy, and free will: the freedom to leave an old chapter, begin again, and build something personal.

That is why Iris & Carly is not only about beautiful jewellery. It is about choosing a piece for the feeling you want to carry: love, courage, luck, joy, healing, memory, achievement, or the first step into a new life.
